The 2005 edition of ATF/AFMC/AAN drew to a close in December 2005 after breaking new ground along the way. A total of 200 international seller companies from 29 countries congregated at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore to network and trade with 450 buyer companies from 28 countries. US$32.7 million worth of sales were concluded at the market, surpassing last year's US$21 million. In addition, the presence of a heavyweight contingent of studios such as Buena Vista International Television, CBS Paramount International Television, Twentieth Century Fox International Distribution, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures Television International and Warner Bros International Television Distribution clearly reflected their substantial support towards the market and further enhanced its international appeal as a strategic business platform.
ATF/AFMC is also an anchor event of Asia Media Festival (AMF) hosted by MDA. It 's a 3-week long media festival encompassing trade and public events ranging from trade markets, conferences, symposiums to master classes, networking sessions and awards. The Asia Media Festival underlines Singapore 's vision to establish itself as a media hub for Asia Pacific region.
