What are the coming trends in prime-time programming in Eastern Europe?
Unsurprisingly, the success of local entertainment shows seems to continue - perhaps in a more refined and targeted schedule than recent years' wall-to-wall reality free-for-all. Prime time has also been substantially bolstered by a number of countries' renewed successes with home produced drama and comedy. Hollywood remains a consistent supplier of a wide range of feature films across schedules including prime-time, and it is with some relief that we have seen a continuation of the recent return of strong performing U.S. dramas to prime-time.
What are the coming trends in distribution of TV Fiction Programming in Eastern Europe ?
As with the rest of the world, the rate of technological change has meant that broadcasters are looking for programming that works on conventional linear television, but has interesting and relevant forms that create a strong presence on all other audio-visual platforms. While some of these changes have not yet transformed our business in Eastern Europe, the existing trend of very rapid, competitive and commercial growth in the region, makes it seem certain that our customers will be coming to us with new forms of exploitation on a regular basis.
Can you name your products that you had on air in 2005 in Eastern Europe ?
Almost all of our current features and television product is on air to a greater or lesser extent across Eastern Europe and the library is also consistently under license.
