What are the coming trends in production / distribution of TV Animation/ Entertainment Programming in Eastern Europe ?
Eastern Europe is acquiring more and more American animated series' and movies and their programming needs are now becoming similar to those in the US. As such, we are very excited to introduce at DISCOP "Casper 's Scare School " and "George of the Jungle", both titles are very popular and successful worldwide.
Can you name your products that were aired in Eastern Europe during 2005?
The successful release in Poland of the DVD Family Classics and Poky.
Do you have products in production or that are currently being aired in Eastern European countries in 2006?
In 2007, the Cartoon Network will launch our new animated series George of the Jungle in Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic. We are also very excited with the release on DVD of our successful animated movies such as Casper's Spirited Beginning, Frosty the Snowman, etc.
What Eastern European countries are important for your business?
All of Eastern Europe is important to our business, as it is one of the fastest growing international markets. We want to be part of this growth and believe that American programming is becoming popular and works well there. |
