What are the advantages / difficulties of selling of telenovelas to Western European countries?
We see more advantages than difficulties to deal with Western European countries. Our products have been well accepted on these specific markets in the last 2 years with deals closed with Hungary, Poland and Portugal. We're dealing right now Romania, Albania give us a great sign that Western European customers already made Record TV network one of the main suppliers.
Do you sell ready-made telenovelas or fiction formats to Western Europe ?
Yes ours products are believed ready to be exhibited excepted for the language.
Can you give us some examples of successful telenovelas that are on air in Western European countries?
At the moment we have "The Slave Isaura" and "These Women" and the next to be on air is "Proof of Love ".
Do you have projects in co-production in Western European countries?
Not at the moment because this great physical distance between us which create some obstacles regarding to the costs for both sides.
Do you participate in Reed Midem's Telenovela Screenings? What do you expect from this event?
Yes, we do. It is the most important event in the market today giving the opportunity to producers and exhibitors to share their experiences and learn deeply from each other. Reed Midem is the hard of the work TV Market.
