What is your program strategy?
ATV offers the audience the programs that provide true information, quality entertainment and positive education. The main goals we tend to achieve in the creation of our programs are through an independent approach, the ability to react to changes fast and properly, innovativeness and inventiveness. ATV tries to keep the balance between financial sustainability, objective information, and an independent editorial policy and programming.
Can you name us the most successful titles that you acquired in 2005/06?
Speaking about our prime time programming, the main emphasis is on news and current affairs programs, quality talk shows and debate programs, but also entertainment program: movies, series, and telenovelas, sports (Spanish football league and Formula 1). The percentage of American fare on ATV is about 45%, and local fare is 35%. ATV broadcasts the following European programs: BBC documentaries and French mini-series (such as "Virus in heaven"). The most successful were the BBC documentaries "Universe" and "The Quest for a Holy Grail", as well as the series "Virus in Heaven" and "Inspector Morse", and the Spanish Football League are successful products on ATV for 2006. |
