What are your acquisition strategies? What genres are you looking for?

Vietnam Media Corp. is one of the first and leading private Vietnamese Production and Distribution Companies for Film & TV series. Vietnam Media Corp. has expanded its activities in Theatrical Distribution for Foreign films in Vietnam since 2002 with the total market share of about 40%. The films that we have been distributing in Vietnam includes titles from Warner Bros., UIP, Columbia TriStar, Lion Gate and other big Asian Distributors like CJ, Cinema Services, Media Asia, Show Box, iHQ, Emperor Motion Pictures. At Asia Television Forum 2006, Vietnam Media Corp. is looking for game show formats to replace and upgrade those existing games that are having produced. In addition, Vietnam Media Corp. is also looking for good Asian drama series to distribute in local market.

Can you give us several titles of domestic / international programming that you acquired this year?

In 2006, Vietnam Media Corp. has acquired big number of game show formats and the right to distribute Asian drama series in the local market. Regarding game show formats, in 2006, Vietnam Media Corp. has extended the contracts to produce the following game shows, which include: 3 rd season of "Price is Right"; 2 nd season of "Pyramid"; 3 rd season of "Name that Tune"; and 2 nd season of "Lyric Broad". For drama series, the new titles of the year are: "Sad Love Story"; "Hero"; "Myth of Ahyou"; "Magic Chief"; "Zhaojun" and many more.

How many hours of programming will you acquire this year? Do you have an increase or decrease in your acquisition budget in comparison with last year?

In a year, on average, Vietnam Media Corp. acquires about 400 hours of game show programs and 300 hours of drama series. In 2006, there is an increase in the number of titles and game show formats, which were acquired by us but there is a decrease in the number in our acquisition budget in comparison with the last year.

What domestic /foreign programs are popular in your country in this season?

At this season, the popular programs are: "Who wants to be a Millionaire"; "Price is Right"; "Lyrics Broad"; "Sunday at Home"; "Fortune Wheel"; "Catch Phrase".
