What is your most important and new product for MIPTV and MIPDOC 2007?

The most important product and our latest contribution to the animation industry is "Eelif Aant", our 3D animated TV series. A cartoon series from DMP Animations rolls off with huge little Eelif the elephant, and little big Aant, the ant, discovering the daily delights and distresses of an extremely delicate friendship.

What is your most newsworthy project for MIPTV and MIPDOC 2007?

This as both newsworthy and something we all have learnt from "Three Friends". Our first international venture "An IP" solely developed by DMP Animations. The story was based on the Indian folk tales, "Panchatantra". The 22 minutes of Educational and Moral Fiction was a successful project. Our second newsworthy project is "Eelif Aant. Believe& Succeed". At DMP animations, we have come out with a unique product "Eelif Aant". It's an original one from DMP animations and we will be coming up with more to look forward to.

Can you tell us more about "Eelif Aant"?

The TV series recounts the story of 'friendship of extremes'. We are proud of the fact that the entire show from concept-to-creation including voices, is being done in New Delhi. Our creative team has taken a good amount of time and has gone near and far to make "Eelif Aant" a series that is attractive to a broad audience for animation viewers. Eelif, the meek Elephant, has the fiery Aant for a friend, who can be depended upon to add that sprinkle of spice to a completely innocent situation, stirring up a storm. And what she might spare, Eelif's unpredictably magical trunk is sure to snare. Eelif's trunk has a way of changing shapes, but seems to exercise its own will against Eelif's in a manner that takes them and everyone else around in and out of scrapes. "Eelif Aant" keeps you engaged in tangles and wacky to-dos, and along with all the other inhabitants of Talk of the Town, stretch out to tickle your funny bone. Watch "Eelif Aant" as much for the unlikely friendship as for the assortment of supporting characters like Sporting, the cautious octogenarian, Sniver, the dumb wolf fond of thinking that he is cunning, Snorting, the supercilious psychiatrist, Flutter, their somewhat vacant upper-storied friend, Amlet, the annoying aunt, and many more. Our creative director treated each episode as little movies. He's really good at developing his characters. And he makes sure that the stories we tell aren't just tricky plots, but are also character based and character driven.
