The Curator
A Film with a Universally Human Idea, American TV Format, and a Slavic Soul
"The Curator", a 4-part series mystical drama produced by Mark Epstein and Sergei Krutsenko, brilliantly embodies a TV format with the elements of a feature film that can be successfully screened in any movie theater. Created by director Vladimir Nakhabtsev, and one of Russia's best Director's of Photography, Dimitriy Mass, and backed up by an impressive cast of Russian film stars Yuri Belyaev, Victor Proskurin, Daniil Spivakovsky, Kirill Pirogov and Svetlana Svetlichnaya, " The Curator" gives an unforgettable impression. Yuri Konstantinov painted over 1,500 square meters of scenery (over 50 full-length films) of a highly artistic quality. The visual effects by the creators of special effects in the Russian blockbusters " The Night Patrol", " The Day Patrol" and " Werewolf" lend the drama the image of a modern feature film. The Big Symphony Orchestra under the patronage of the Ukrainian President recorded the distinctive music composed by Sergei Krutsenko. Each one of the four series runs for 46-minutes and can be presented in any television format, including HD 1080i with Surround 5.1 sound. For movie theaters the drama has a 120-minute version. More often than none, an ad is much more attractive than the real product. But in this case, it is not so. This drama is for those who love and respect movies.
