Televisa Celebrates its 50th Anniversary

This is a remarkable year for Televisa Estudios. The company is celebrating its 50th Anniversary since it produced its first telenovelas.

Indeed, it has been many years that viewers from around the world watch high-quality and star-powered productions. Many generations have grown up with Televisa's telenovelas, while the company continues its best traditions, of which concern the production of the most renown telenovelas in the world, by offering new telenovelas, fiction formats and TV series.

In a hatred-fueled "Reins of Love", Montserrat is a privileged young woman: she is beautiful, rich, as well as an accomplished horse rider who is in love with Rodrigo. Unfortunately, Montserrat has an enemy in her own home: her cousin Ingrid, who hates her. Ingrid finds a way to spite Montserrat by seducing Rodrigo. Gaviota, who works as a harvester on an agave field, falls deeply in love with Rodrigo, the grandson of a Tequila mogul. Separated from her beloved by the finality of a will and the greed of a powerful family, Gaviota will embark on a search for her lost love that will take her as far as Paris and London. But a world ruled by ambition, anger and deceit will threaten to turn into stone, Gaviota's innocent and pure heart.

In a cheerful and music-filled telenovelas for teens "Lola, Once Upon a Time", Lola is a young orphan who arrives at the Von Ferdinand mansion as an assistant governess. Her cheerful disposition will have a positive effect on her reluctant pupils and she will introduce them to the real world and to music. This is a story filled with hope, drama and lighter moments of fun and pranks. Thanks to Lola, the rigid German upbringing of these youngsters will give way to happiness and love.

Finally, funny and uplifting "I Love Irresistible Juan" is the tale of an endless womanizer, a total ladies' man, who runs away to the city to escape from yet another "failed" romance in his hometown. Upon arriving to the city, Juan - who thinks he knows all the tricks to make women fall for him-meets the love of his life, Paula Davila, who is in love with a very rich and powerful man. Juan will put his ear-to-ear smile to use, his crazy dance, and his unique haircut, to win Paula's trust and unconditional love.

And following the international success of the format "Dancing for a Dream", Televisa is also presenting an innovative catalogue of formats that include drama and reality shows.
