What are your acquisition strategies?
Today TViGO Entertainment (www.tvigo.ru) - is an innovative company, working in the area of New Media content production and distribution. We are bringing the best quality new media products for Russian-speaking internet video viewers. There are specifics requirements of such products - short timing (up to 5-6 min episode), limited set of genres, and high dynamics. Unfortunately, up to 90% of classical TV products do not fit into viewers' requirements, because of these specific requirements. Another challenge in rights acquisitions is that, it is such a new market, and most of the rights owners are struggling to define a proper price structure for internet, mobile and other new media rights for their products.
What programs did you buy this year?
This year we are bought some long cartoon series from Alphanim, working close with our Singapore partners to acquire format rights for drama, made for 3G mobile phones, proactively seeking for new formats and entertainment and infotainment products for our audiences.
What are your acquisition plans?
In our plans later this year, is to produce three internet sitcoms, two cartoon series, and up to 16 different infotainment programs, targeting new media audiences. Some of them do not have direct analogues on classical TV media.
