What are your acquisition strategies?
Sorpresa!' s main goal is to provide a Fun, Entertaining and Culturally relevant environment where kids can learn about themselves and the world around them while connecting with their Hispanic heritage. We want to fortify our relationship with our audience and become the kids' experts; engage our viewers through the best original productions, acquisitions from all over the world and our multiplatform community.

What programs are you looking for?
We are interested on non-violent programming geared to kids ages 2 to 17. Any type of genre with strong appeal to the Hispanic Community with Multiplatform legs.
Anything from: 2-minutes interstitials, half-hour episodes and 60-minute movies and specials. We are looking for unique, edgy and high quality projects, co-production opportunities and shows that cover topics such as exercise and healthy lifestyles, literacy skills, social issues, etc.
What foreign programs did you buy this year?
" El Reto Burundis " from Mexico, " Arcandina " from Chile, "Chiquititas" from Argentina.
What national programs did you buy this year?
"Qu e Pasa?" - co-produced weekend news segment hosted by CNN en Espanol anchor Claudia Palacios. The weekly segment features news tailored for Hispanic children ages 6 to 12 years old.
What are your acquisition plans?
We have a new programming line-up starting in 4Q07, a couple of projects in development and some acquisition under negotiation. Very exciting news coming soon to Sorpresa!
