What are your acquisition strategies?

We are specializing in Cross media content, and looking for successful formats or suitable content that we could develop for cross-media platforms. (Mobile, Internet, VOD, TV and DVD). Our film catalogue includes more than 400 hours of most awarded films from around the world (Documentary and Fiction). Our films gather great success in prestigious international festivals, and are broadcasted on major TV channels worldwide.

What programs are you looking for?

We are looking for awarded documentary and Feature films, HD content and successful formats for Cross media platform.

What foreign programs did you buy this year?

One of MAGYX expertise is acquisition of interesting and successful content for localized productions around the world. MAGYX exclusively licensed the rights of unique 3D animation for worldwide local productions of a successful project "40 weeks". The exclusive 3D animation, which was produced with a budget of 2.5 millon Euros, follows the development of the fetus in the womb. Local production - "40 weeks" was already launched in Israel as a Digital version of the project for Mobile and Internet. "40 weeks" gathers great successes on the three biggest mobile operators in Israel: Orange, Cellcom and Pelephone, which have more than 1.5 million 3G users. The project was also launched on the biggest Internet portal in Israel, and gathered great success from the first week it was on air. In addition, we have acquired for Cross media platforms (Mobile, Internet, VOD, TV) the collection of the "Best ads of the world, important feature films and drama's as "Sonja" and awarded documentaries as "Encounter Point".

What national programs did you buy this year?

MAGYX is an international distributor, but a local content developer and producer. We do not acquire national content but develop original products.

What are your acquisition plans?

As distributors, we are interested in factual and non-factual successful films and series, original television formats and programs.
