United Kingdom What are your acquisition strategies?
Our remit is to work with major UK and international newspapers, magazines and brands to help them create compelling circulation and loyalty building content promotions, in addition to working with distributors to help them best exploit their current and back catalogues in a fast changing media environment. We tend to buy a selection of rights including the one-off promotional DVD rights for feature films and television programs with strong franchises or well known actors and a variety of children' s and specialist content series.
What programs are you looking for ?
We are always looking to acquire the promotional DVD rights for compelling feature films, kid' s animation and features, family oriented television series in addition to specialist content ranging from sports, documentaries and well branded educational series.
What foreign programs did you buy this year?
We work with numerous European and American content owners and have bought a variety of children' s animation, feature film and television content.
What national programs did you buy this year?
In the UK market, we have bought a wide selection of feature films (including older titles like "The Slipper and the Rose" and "The Romantic English Woman"), fitness content, documentaries (including ones on Diana and Danielle Steele) and a variety of made-for-television features and children' s animation.
What are your acquisition plans?
e are active acquirers in the genres listed above - we are particularly keen to purchase the promotional rights for well- known feature films, fitness, classic animation and suites of televisual and specialist content with strong promotional potential in the UK marketplace. |
