Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution offers a wide-ranging slate features a number of new and returning series on MIPTV.

New Amsterdam

Mystery, romance and the supernatural are combined to make "New Amsterdam" one of the most unique new police dramas available to international buyers at this year's MIPTV. The series focuses on a dashing New York homicide detective who becomes immortal due to an ancient native spell which keeps him alive - unless he finds the one true love of his life.

Is immortality a gift or a curse? In "New Amsterdam", a young, mysterious and reckless New York homicide detective, John Amsterdam (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), is granted the ability to live forever. In 1642, he saved the life of a native Indian girl during a massacre of her indigenous tribe and in return, she cast an ancient spell that conferred immortality upon him. She told him he won't age, until he finds his one true love. Presently, "Amsterdam" is one of NYPD's best homicide detectives. All the knowledge and experiences he gained during his vast life experience, now serve to his unique advantage. Having witnessed the development of New York City from colonial outpost to the mega-metropolis it is now, he and the island of Manhattan are part of one another.

It's nearly impossible to ignore the ticking of one's biological clock. For bright, optimistic and determined Sarah Tompkins ("Parker Posey", "Boston Legal", "Party Girl"), the yearning to have a baby is so strong that when she learns she's unable to get pregnant, she enlists the help of her estranged sister to carry her baby, on "The Return of Jezebel James". Dating at any age can be a miserable experience. However, getting back into the singles scene again when you're in your thirties can be brutal. "Unhitched", a cutting-edge new comedy from the award-winning Farrelly brothers, follows the life of Jack "Gator" Gately ("Craig Bierko", "Boston Legal"), a guy who has to start over in his thirties after his marriage to his college sweetheart ends and as a result, he finds himself back in the dating scene with his 30-something friends.

Also on offer at MIPTV from Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution will be several international hits including "24", "The Simpsons"," Prison Break", "Back to You", "Burn Notice", "Bones", and "Family Guy".
