Expo Connection

The theme of World Expo 2010'Better City, Better Life'appeals to all nations. World Expo 2010 Shanghai China will be a great event to explore the full potentials of urban life; it will be centered on innovation and interaction; it will also offer a wonderful opportunity for cross-culture dialogues. To display the extraordinary event in an all-around way, the weekly 30-minute TV magazine "Expo Connection", presented by Shanghai Media Group, out does itself by covering the build up to a major international event, focusing on preparations for World Expo 2010 in Shanghai. Multi-angled, Expo Connection introduces the culture and history of the World Expo, as well as highlighting developments as they unfold for the event. With up-beat, informative, stories, the program is composed of four sections, namely "Highlight", focusing on the various highlights of the event; "File", a culturally focused retrospective of the World Expo; "Expo and U", covering the interaction of volunteers with local citizens, and showcasing different individual's involvement; and "Updates", Expo news from the past week. Miss Yuan Ming, Shanghai's ambassador for the World Expo bid, is the program anchor.
