Viewpoints: acquisitions strategies
Marc Buhaj Jetix Europe is looking for great character driven comedy series that will support our new, original production slate. Action series also need to have an element of comedy. The shows can be either live-action or animation. We naturally have great European partners but also work with the rest of the world.
What were your key acquisition deals in 2007? Among our key pick-ups in 2007 were "Monster Buster Club" from Marathon, "Galactik Football 2" from Alphanim and new "Pokemon" from Pokemon Company in some of our territories. What are your plans for MIPTV? We will be trawling the Palais for the next big hit. Let us know if you have it! |
