What are your acquisition strategies?

We have a complex and changing market so we are continuously working to find the most suitable films for our company. We keep in touch with the most important sellers and watch how the new releases performing in the neighboring countries. 

What products are you looking for?

We are looking for feature films, which are between art house films and commercial films. Our company is in a special situation because of we are the oldest film distribution company in the Hungarian market and a state-owned company, so we are committed to buy ‘ quality'films.
Beside feature films, we are interested in literary adaptations.
We are especially looking for European films.

What were your key acquisition deals in 2007?

"Shine a Light" (Fortissimo Film); "My family" and other animals (BBC); "Vanity fair" (BBC).

What are your plans for the future?

To find the next blockbuster!
