What are your acquisition strategies?
The strategy is based on the following basic principles: quality purchases, new ways of co-production, searching and finding contents in national and international markets which make us different from other TV channels.
What products are you looking for?
We look for quality documentaries and films which meet the needs we have in the program grid and following the preferences of our public. As to the documentaries, environmental, social and historic subjects which our public likes the most. In relation to the cinema aside from commercial films, we also play European and modern author films.
What were your key acquisition deals in 2007?
Our main agreements have been with companies such as: N.G., BBC, NEW ATLANTIS, DEAPLANETA, FOX, UNIVERSAL, WARNER, COLUMBIA, PARAMOUNT, MGM, and with more than 30 different worldwide suppliers.
What are your plans for MIPTV?
Our approach for the MIPTV 2008 will continue to be the search of quality contents as much in documentary as in external production which allows us to continue being a reference in the broadcast of this kind of matters. |
