Viewpoints: acquisitions strategies Carlo Levy What are your acquisition strategies? Our company has always focused on acquiring only the best in Japanese animation shows. We firmly believe that a great story is the fundamental of success, and then it needs to be animated first class, because our audience is extremely demanding. What products are you looking for? We are open to all genres (sci-fi, comedy, humor), but we specialize solely in Japanese anime; our current interests also include live-action feature films if Manga or anime related. What were your key acquisition deals in 2007? We licensed several blockbusters: "Devil May Cry" the TV series, "Afro Samurai", "Nana the Movie"... What are your plans for MIPTV? Finding a good TV broadcaster for those shows that still haven't found one! |
