What are your acquisition strategies?
Ledafilms' main strategy throughout it's more than 30 years has been to license television rights to high quality programming with a broad prime time appeal for the Latin American audiences. A key in our strategy is also the feedback from our Sales Team as new tendencies are always arising.
What products are you looking for?
We are looking mainly for all TV, all Latin America rights to brand new movies (either theatrical or made for TV), event miniseries, especially action, adventure, or family type with good cast and stories.

Becoming Jane
What were your key acquisition deals in 2007?
Among our vast catalogue of over 700 titles we are releasing soon: "Death Defying Acts" starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Guy Pearce, "My Mom's New Boyfriend" with Antonio Banderas and Meg Ryan,"In the Name of the King" with Jason Stathman and Kristana Locken and "Becoming Jane" with Anne Hathaway just to name a few. Also we will distribute the action-adventure event miniseries "Impact" as well as another event movie titled "Lost City Raiders". Both of these high budget productions have state of the art special effects.
What are your plans for MIPTV? (Are these plans for the show?)
As always, in this type of market, we look forward to discovering some innovative and original programming. |
