Can you tell us about sales of your products to Asia-Pacific region?

Asia- Pacific region has always been an important market for Off the Fence, in all aspects of our business - ranging from program sales, production, co-productions & acquisitions. In OTF's 15 year history we have established strong relationships in Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, China and Japan. Our catalogue of Natural History, Science & Technology & History travels brilliantly in Asia and the recent addition of WE.tv catalogue has been an exciting development, as the demand for lifestyle programming in the region continues to grow.

What products have already performed well in this region?

Long running series always prove popular in Asia. The Natural History title "The Most Extreme" (NHNZ 76x1hr) continues to perform well having closed sales in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam & Indonesia. Asian focused content is also in high demand, so we are lucky that we work with a number of great Asian producers on content that's successful both internationally and locally, titles such as "Paradise Asia" 30x30' (MCN International (Channel NewsAsia)/Xtreme Production/MDA), "China Circus" 2x1hr (NHNZ/CICC) and "Spirit of Orchid Island" 1x1hr (PTS, Taiwan) are all proving to be success full titles!

What Asian countries are most important for your sales?

Asia as a whole is one of our most important regions, hence the opening of our Singapore office last year. Of course the lucrative territories of Japan, India & Korea are high on our agenda for 2009, but at the same time we are continuing to successfully work in smaller, but just as important, territories such as Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Brunei and Vietnam.

What products will you bring on ATF?

ATF 2009 will be our most exciting attendance to date, as well as representing the Smithsonian HD Catalogue containing approx 100hrs and WE.tv's female skewed catalogue of 220 hours (150 shot in HD)we also ill be taking along a number of great series such as:

"Responsible Business" (26x30') - t his series highlights leading global corporations that are developing business-driven solutions to some of the greatest challenges facing our world today. Not only to improve corporate reputation or increase profits, but because it is the right thing to do.

" Tokyo: Living Small in the Big City" (1x1hr) - Tokyo.  35 million people.  It's a hulking mass of mostly make shift structures. Small wooden tea houses squashed up against high rise glass towers. Tokyo will never slow down and it continues to grow at a frightening pace. To accommodate such rapid growth you need architectural and technological innovations that cannot be found anywhere else in the world

"Stories from the Vaults" (14x22') - Actor Tom Cavanagh hosts this humorous and quirky series, venturing beyond the exhibit halls into the back rooms, high-tech vaults and cutting-edge labs of the world's most renowned museum complex to showcase the Smithsonian's rarely-seen treasures. Meet the brilliant, fascinating people working behind-the-scenes who care for and unlock their secrets, telling some extraordinary stories of American culture and heritage.
