MEN7 Establish Footprint in Asia

Bennett Media Worldwide, a leader in male-targeted content, signed a breakthrough broadband licensing agreement of its MEN7 brand to SyQic Capital, a Malaysian-based media group regarded as the top broadband TV solutions and content provider in Asia.

The 150 hours of content in the MEN7 Digital Network will become part of SyQic's rich media broadband TV platform YOONIC. The delivery will begin in Malaysia in February and extend to Indonesia no later than May 2009. SyQic retains an option to license the MEN7 brand in its other immediate prospective territories of The Philippines, Singapore, and Colombia.

Anchored by the globally-popular television series, "The MEN7 Show", the HD video content from Bennett Media to SyQic will include 150 hours of long and short-form programming, accompanying editorial copy, promotional clips, graphics, publicity and advertising materials, and extensive research on men's program preferences on non-linear platforms.

At last October's MIPCOM, Bennett Media announced the rollout of its MEN7 package to Internet, IPTV, and Mobile platform owners. It is currently in negotiations with more than a dozen other telcos and multi-media companies around the globe.

Last month, Bennett closed a contract with KIT Digital to collaborate with Bennett's sales team on licensing MEN7 in foreign territories. KIT Digital, a leading global provider of IPTV enablement technology and video-centric interactive marketing solutions, for the past several months has also been engaged with The Bennett Group in rebuilding and promoting its online and mobile outlets including the MEN7 portal (www.men7.tv).

SyQic Capital's CEO Jamal Hassim said, "We are proud to announce a comprehensive content tie-up with a company like Bennett that clearly understands the new media operating and business environments.
