What are your acquisition strategies in 2009?
Our strategy is to acquire exclusive distribution rights for large clip libraries for worldwide exploitation; with time, we have built a large network of clients and we want to be able to provide them with fresh and unique clip content for their productions.
What products are you looking for?
We are interested in nearly every genre. However, having in mind programs especially targeted to a specific audience, we are looking for light entertainment series based on funny clips, hidden camera gags, bloopers and pranks; we are also always on the look-out for new and fresh clip libraries (hidden camera, Bloopers, Home videos, Caught on tape)
Can you name the most successful titles that you acquired this year?
One such title is a hidden camera based series called Joking Around; other titles include Funny Home Videos from Latin America and Eastern Europe as well as Hidden Camera Gags from Belgium.
What products will be in demand during MIPCOM 2009?
Light entertainment series, they suit all audiences and are less expensive to produce than dramatic series. In view of the crisis, cost effective content will be very popular. MIPCOM is the right place for program selection and for contacts with our current and future partners.
