What are your acquisition strategies?
MK-Distribution specializes in selling TV rights for Ukrainian broadcasters, the distribution of Ukrainian TV content on international markets, placement of films, shows, and reels on Ukrainian and worldwide channels. We are oriented towards a wide audience because we work with different channels, and we need to be able to meet different clients' requirements. That's why we are open to all forms of collaboration.
What products are you looking for?
We are interested in all genres: feature films (comedy, family films, drama etc.), lifestyle and entertainment programs, documentary, animation etc. We're looking for products that will satisfy different clients' needs. The main requirements of products are quality and a reasonable price.
Can you name the most successful titles that you acquired this year?
MK-Distribution is an official dealer of World Wide Entertainment (Australia) in the Ukraine. We present more than 500 hours of quality TV content of our partner to Ukrainian channels. As for the worldwide distribution of very popular Ukrainian productions, "BURST OF TASTE", a program that discovers the culinary mysteries of different countries, and "THUMBNAILS", a program that shows the magic of cinematography.
What products will be in demand during MIPCOM 2009?
Such events such as MIPCOM and MIPDOC give an excellent opportunity to meet friends and new business partners. Here we can see the growth of the market, exchange the ideas and develop new projects. I think successful quality products will be always in demand.
