What are your acquisition strategies?
I am looking for TV channels and video content to be distributed on the mobile TV Services we are managing for mobile operators. Currently, we are running TV services for mobile operators like T-Mobile, Hutchinson3, Entel, Telenor, TeliaSonera etc, and for these customers we often handle the content sourcing.
What products are you looking for?
Branded short form video clips and linear and loop channels with mobile rights. We are interested in nearly every genre but there is a high demand for lifestyle content and TV series.
Can you name the most successful titles that you acquired this year?
Adult Swim from Turner and video clips from MTV (eg old Jack Ass clips) has performed really well on Mobile Video services. For the Linear channels Disney Channel, Discovery Mobile and MTV are really popular on a global basis. We also see a growing popularity for Al Jazeera.
What products will be in demand during MIPCOM 2009?
At the moment, I am trying to find branded video on demand content and mobile loops that can be acquired on a revenue share basis.
