What are your acquisition strategies?
TELETOON is looking for comedies for kids 6-11 and teen comedies that could play along with hit Original Production "Total Drama Action" and new series "Majority Rules". We're also on the look out for big ticket movies that will appeal to the whole family and adult primetime broad-skewing animated comedies for adults 18-34 that won't offend the little ones if they stay up a bit too late.

What products are you looking for?
It would be great to see more comedy pitches for kids 6-11. Surprisingly there seems to be a real shortage of these.
Can you name the most successful titles that you acquired this year?
There is so much that we are excited about this year at TELETOON. We will be the home of Star Wars this year, with the launch of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" series and the theatrical movies. We also have an amazing line up in our adult block "TELETOON at Night" with "Futurama" and "American Dad. King of the Hill" joins the schedule. "The Super Hero Squad Show" joins our Action Force line up which is already a huge hit with boys 6-11 and men 18-34.
What products will be in demand during MIPCOM 2009?
We are taking the non-linear space very seriously in all of our acquisitions and Original Productions. We need to be able to offer viewers the full experience so they can watch TELETOON when they want, how they want, on any screen.
