Can you tell us about the most important changes in your company's activities in 2009?

The market has experienced major changes throughout 2009 and these changes have led us to focus our efforts in two clear directions. On the one hand, we've focused on producing fiction, particularly TV-movies and mini-series. And, on the other hand, we've also focused on producing low-cost entertainment in order to satisfy the demands of the new DTTV channels.

What are your sales strategies this autumn?

The strategy within Spain is clearly centered on providing content for the new DTTV channels, which require a high-volume of programming. Internationally, we've laid down two lines. The first, based on production, is directed at adapting our new formats. And the goal of the second line, based on distribution, is to distribute our new fiction products.

What are the most important countries for your sales?

Traditionally, the natural market for our products has been Latin America, although lately the market has begun to open up and European territories, particularly emerging markets in Eastern Europe, are becoming increasingly important.

What new titles do you offer at MIPCOM?

In Fiction, we offer the TV movie "You Are Not Alone", (1x60', Broadcaster: TVE, 2009) for the first time. The film narrates how Sara, who is only 23-years old, goes from falling in love to becoming the victim of domestic violence. Thanks to therapy, Sara begins a long and difficult process during which she will have to confront her abuser and accuse him in public. Sara learns that she is not alone; that society and the law are on her side.

In addition we show "54 Days" (Mini-series 2x75', Broadcaster: Antena 3, 2009), which narrates a real-life event that shook Spain a few months ago. Antonio, head of an ordinary family of modest means, is bringing up his three children to share his strong faith in the law. But everything falls apart when his 5-year-old daughter disappears right outside his own front door. "54 Days" is aspiring to an Emmy and the 2009 International Emmy Award Nominees will be announced during Mipcom on Monday October 5 th.

As for entertainment, we launch "100%" (Format & Spanish Production, 65x25', Broadcaster: Canal Sur, 2009) a quiz show in which two contestants compete on their degree of knowledge about Spanish society. The contestant who manages to eliminate his opponent faces 10 questions about Spaniards and their way of looking at life.
