Miracle Screenings MIPTV issue "European Television and Global Television" was published on 2 April and distributed by circulation of 5,000 issues during MIPTV 2006 directly to industry professionals. Magazines were distributed directly to BUYERS (in special envelopes upon their arrival to Cannes); to all buyers & participants' mail boxes, exhibitors' stands and press desks in hotels Carlton, Majestic, Hoga Hilton, Martinez, Grand Hotel, Sofitel.
100 pages MIPTV issue was the BEST and the most interesting PROJECT we have ever produced. The analitical part of the magazine was developped in closed collaboration with research agencies in Western and Eastern European countries, the US, Canada, Asia-Pacific, including well known research agencies including Mediametrie/Eurodata TV, Nielsen Media Research, BBM Canada, Gallup Media, Media Monitor, and 8 offices of AGB Nielsen Media Research in different countries of the world!
MIPTV issue included analisis of all Western European markets (market share, TOP 10, major TV Channels);overview of 10 Western European Format markets (22 pages of Format Wisdom!); overview of Prime-Time Programming and TV Fiction in Western European slots (20 pages!); thematic sections devoted to features, tv movies, tv series, formats, telenovelas, documentaries, children programming and animation; 20 pages Telenovela section is supported by participation of almost all Latin American giants!
MIPTV issue included 52 advertisers, publications of more than 150 companies and more that 60 exclusive interviews (!) with buyers and sellers from all over the world.
Miracle Screenings is a two years old international trade magazine covering audiovisual business. Published 6 times a year and created by Planet Sunbeam Limited that has a considerable experience in organization of showcases, screenings, conferences and PR actions during the leading events in Western European and Asian countries, the magazine offers flexible marketing strategies aimed on promotion of international programming. In only 2 years time, the magazine united more than 350 companies in professional briefings, articles, interviews and promotional campaigns and received support of many research agencies, professional associations and high-ranking industry executives in many countries.

This section is devoted to prime-time programming in Western Europe. Miracle Screenings has chosed 5 major Western European Markets: UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and did prime-time programming observations. Well known American moguls and European giants participated in creation of this section, among them: Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, NBC Universal International Distribution, TF1 International, Granada International, FremantleMedia.
Special Focus: TV Movies & TV Series on Western European prime-time slots in 2005-2006.

Eastern Europe: New Opportunities for Business

Global Format Trade in Western Europe: 20 pages are devoted to Nuggets of Format Wisdom!
Western Europe is considered to be the most important territory in terms of the origination and distribution of formats. Many well known European hit TV shows -"Who Wants to be Millionaire", "Big Brother", "Survivor", "The Weakest Link", "Idols", "Fear Factor" - became real mega-hits in prime time slots not only in Europe, but in many corners of the world and opened the US and Asian markets to European formatting content in general and UK content in particular. "Millionaire" together with "Big Brother" sparked the global trade in formats in the late 1990s, and helped to shape the format business as we know today.
Thanks to collaboration with FRAPA, Screen Digest and leading professionals in format industry, this section devoted to global format trade in Western Europe is the biggest in Miracle Screenings MIPTV issue. More than 20 pages (!) of the magazine are fully devoted to observation of 10 Western European Format Markets (UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Belgium), briefings between professionals involved in production and distribution of all kinds of formats and format publicity. Supported by Latin American community, this section devoted to telenovela sales is one of the most popular sections in Miracle Screenings. It gives overviews of the production background, hours broadcast, production value, and major players. Miracle Screenings' Publisher Elena Sunbeam will present the Top Award for Best European Film Entry into this year's End of the Pier International Film Festival on the Festival's Award Ceremony in Bognor Regis on 6 May 2006.
